This Monday, the Leopold Center is hosting:

Sustaining Iowa: Making the Connection between Food, Health and the Land
California physician Preston Maring will visit Iowa to share his passion for local food. Maring is Associate Physician-in-Chief at the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Oakland. In 2003, he created the Friday Fresh Farmers Market at the hospital, now offered at 340 other health care facilities in six states.
